It is with sincere regret that ICCDPP wishes to inform readers of the untimely death of Dr Ronald Sultana (Malta). Ron was an outstanding scholar and prolific writer and presenter who personally befriended anyone who collaborated with him and whose death touches us all. He was both a national and international colossus in the field of career guidance (and education) with very sharp analyses of policy and its implementation through sociological and educational lenses. He had a particular role in policy analysis in EU accession countries, in EU neighbouring countries, and had a particular interest in and understanding of such developments in eastern and southern Mediterranean countries. He identified very strongly with all forms of social injustice, the plight of the Palestinian people to mention but one, and actively promoted social justice. His passing is a huge loss to the career guidance community worldwide. ICCDPP expresses its sincere sympathies to his family.
